Itai Cohen combines deep entrepreneurial experience with a passion for technology, food innovation, and building meaningful companies. A four-time entrepreneur, Itai is driven by turning ideas into operating businesses, scaling teams, and creating real-world impact through disciplined execution and long-term vision.

At the core of Itai’s work is people. A partner, a father, a friend, and a dedicated foodie, he brings the same care, creativity, and hands-on mindset he applies in the kitchen—often cooking for the people he loves—into the companies he builds and supports.

Most recently, Itai served as Co-Founder & CEO of Gavan , where he led an exceptional team with a shared mission to improve food systems and contribute to a more sustainable planet. Under his leadership, Gavan operated at the intersection of food, technology, and environmental impact for nearly six years.

Earlier in his career, Itai held senior executive roles across high-growth technology companies. He was Chief Revenue Officer at CodeMonkey , leading the company through its acquisition by TAL Education Group (NYSE: TAL) . As Co-Founder & COO of Rumble Inc., he helped build the company through to its acquisition by BNY Mellon (NYSE: BK) .

Itai’s background also includes extensive experience in venture capital and finance. He was a Principal at Genesis Partners, one of Israel’s leading early-stage venture capital funds.

Across his career, Itai has worked at every stage of the company lifecycle—venture capital, founding teams, executive leadership, scaling, and exits. His approach is pragmatic, people-centered, and execution-driven.
