Ronen Smooha combines entrepreneurial experience and a love for working with passionate, idealistic individuals as he guides tech startup founders on their journey. Ronen uses his strong technical background, enterprise sales experience and long-time involvement in business development strategy on an international level to discern success potential in tech startups and accompany them to the actualization of that success.\n

\nPrior to founding North First Ventures (N1V), Ronen was a partner in the 2B Angels venture capital fund. Ronen was involved in the software industry for over 20 years, including several years on the executive board of Microsoft Israel, where he was responsible for leading ISV business development services, growing platform adoption and revenue on both a regional and a global scale. For the past 11 years, Ronen has mentored early-stage startups in the Microsoft Accelerator Program, in other accelerators and as an independent consultant. \n

\nAs Managing Partner of N1V, Ronen directs the growth of N1V\u2019s portfolio companies. Ronen\u2019s guidance touches all phases of the startup journey: from ideation to business development to funding to sales. Ronen leverages his experience across disciplines to widen the angle through which N1V\u2019s founders view their company, product, business plan and strategy. \n
